AND WE TRAVEL THE WORLD TOGETHER SINCE SUMMER 2016…

Throughout most of the year, we can be found in rainy Trondheim – the third “biggest” town in Norway, where you can expect rain for about two weeks per month. Or more rain. Or snow. Or snow mixed with rain. Understandably we are not big fans of the weather in Trondheim; therefore we like to travel to more sunny destinations. Like last year to Scotland, Ireland and northern Norway 🙂

We are not one of these inspirational couples that quit the job to travel the world and now is teaching yoga and writing a book full of vegan recipes. We travel while studying and working. Ivar is studying to become a nurse, and both of us work as personal assistants for the same disabled man. That is in fact how we met when Ivar was taken away by my stunning beauty, humor and intellect that I was demonstrating in the mornings after 12h long nightshifts. One day I will write more about the job that allows us to travel, but today is not the day…

BUT WE BOTH TRAVEL MUCH LONGER…

None of us is a newbie to the world of traveling. Before we met, we had both traveled separately. Ivar is an avid climber, who likes to spend his free time in the mountains – mostly in the Alps, that he knows better than Norwegian mountains. Radka usually traveled alone or with her friend Hanča, whom she met while she was studying at the northernmost university on Svalbard.

Radka and Hanča set off to their big trip to Asia in summer 2015, and they took the Transsiberian railway through Russia and traveled through Mongolia, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar to end five months later in Thailand. The next year they took a trip to Iraqi Kurdistan, or they spent two months hitchhiking through Patagonia. Together they have started a travel blog Nestůj a pojď, which will eventually be moved to this page. If you want to hear more about Radka´s previous travels and hear the story “how a girl who has never flown by plane until she was 20 became a travel addict” – then you can check this page.
